The cottages are situated right beside the popular rail trail and are an easy 300 metre stroll to the Lake Sambell picnic area, playground and swimming beach. Further on from there along the rail trail is the easy walk into the main township. Beechworth has a well-stocked local IGA supermarket, pharmacy, Doctor’s, butchers, greengrocer, newsagent, Post Office, cellar doors and not to forget the famous Beechworth Bakery!
