Profile
Little Beach Co is fancy camping at it’s best.
Casual and comfortable within it’s unique location, you will enjoy a refreshing next generation escape to the seaside. Offering privacy and seclusion, our tents are nestled in amongst the bushland; yet only steps away from a dining and lounge experience, set within our converted rammed earth agricultural farm shed with soaring ceilings and expansive verandahs. A short stroll to our architecturally designed shower block which offers private couples bathing and bathroom amenities.
Surrounded by water on rocky coastline on one side and mountains on the other, the native flora and fauna blend beautifully within the landscape unencumbered as far as the eye can see down to Freycinet National Park. The East Coast of Tasmania is often described as God’s Country with its dramatic coastline of red, orange and grey granite boulders dotted with pristine sandy beaches to the south and an endless array of petite rolling hills to the north. We are spoilt for choice with so many amazing places to see and visit, or just kick back and relax around the campfire and enjoy our fully stocked bar and culinary options.
At Little Beach Co Resort, our highest priority is to operate in harmony with the natural values of our land. We are committed to low-impact eco-tourism and aim to enhance our guest experience while advancing our sustainability goals for today and future generations.
Our vision is guided by a 100-year strategy, reflecting our role as custodians of the 400-meter Kelp Forest along our southeast boundary and our efforts to create a Swift Parrot habitat, among other initiatives.
The stunning beauty of our landscape is integral to the Tasmanian way of life, and preserving our natural environment is essential to our reputation and brand.
Tasmania has long been a leader in climate action, boasting a 100% renewable energy base, expansive native forests, and a nation-leading emissions profile. We are one of only three jurisdictions globally to have achieved ‘net zero’ status.
However, there is still much work to be done and we are leaning-in with our guests to create our site as a premier destination for climate-conscious travel. Environmental sustainability is at the heart of our core values, to ensure that the industry is leading sustainability for the future and be a shining example to other operators as to the embodiment of planet, people and profit.
To safeguard our unique edge and preserve our most vital asset—our natural environment— combined with the Tourism Industry Council Tasmania (TICT) we are always looking for initiatives to reduce emissions and adopt more sustainable practices. Our goal is to further our journey down the path to net zero emissions in support of this ambitious vision.
