The Bellum Hotel

Surrounded by lush farmland, Bellum Hotel is situated on the Limestone Coast at the base of the Mt Schank volcanic crater. It’s only a 12 minute drive south of Mt Gambier, and 14 kilometres from the coastal town of Port MacDonnell.

Local attractions include Mount Schank crater rim hike, Kilsby Sink Hole, Little Blue Lake, Ewens Ponds and Picaninnie Ponds Conservation Parks, Blackfellows Caves and beautiful coastal beaches.

The Bellum offers great food, a restaurant and bar, bottle shop, gaming, cigarette machine and ATM facilities.

The Bellum has an outdoor courtyard, indoor play corner for children, and an outdoor play area with a colourful mural of Mount Schank (the outdoor play area is currently under re-construction). There is also an air hockey table, darts and a billiard table.

They offer three comfortable motel rooms. All rooms have flat-screen televisions, fan, heater, towels and a bathroom with shower and free WiFi. The rooms access a secure and enclosed outdoor courtyard garden with crockery, cutlery, toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge and freezer and clothesline. Continental breakfast can be ordered at check-in.
